| | | The 307th District Court is Gregg County’s family court. The parties that appear before this court are families who are litigating issues from divorce and the division of the marital estate, to child custody issues that may involve termination of parental rights, determining primary custody of children to adoption. These are extremely emotional issues for the litigants and the decisions made by this court have a direct and immediate impact on their lives. The Judge of the 307th not only needs a firm understanding of the law, but a temperament strong in the areas of patience and civility, as well as a firm sense of fairness. I am confident I possess all of these qualities and that I am the best candidate for Judge of the 307th District Court.
